The preliminary submission forms will be collected until April 30 2014 and the proposed solutions will be reviewed and evaluated by a SWIM-SM Key Expert specialized in the field, based on the selection criteria and their respective weight, as mentioned above. Each solution will be graded on a total of 100.

The 5 highest ranking solutions under each pillar or sub-pillar that have, at least, fulfilled the binding criteria, will be presented to a panel – composed by experts, SWIM-SM focal points and liaison officers and potentially representatives from the Union for the Mediterranean and the European Commission - for the selection of the best 2 and most replicable in the SWIM PCs under each pillar and sub-pillar during a regional validation exercise. To do so, people/organizations that have provided the 5 highest ranking solutions will be asked to develop the solution into a fulll description and a Power Point presentation for presenting the solution during the regional validation event.

Efforts will be made during the selection process to have a harmonious geographical representation for the selected solutions.
