Aiming at supporting the formation and effective operation of Water Users Association in the South Mediterranean Region through the development of a comprehensive system for their M&E the activity includes the following:

i- A review and evaluation of existing systems used by SWIM Partner Countries for the M&E of PIM/IMT processes;

ii- The identification of existing best practices adopted by relevant International Organisations

iii- The organization of a regional expert group workshop involving representatives from national authorities, water users associations, donors, regional and international organisations and experts to discuss existing M&E experiences emanating from the above regional and international reviews and the adoption of one system that suits best the needs of the countries.
